Please send poetry in a .docx or .doc or .pages format. Important: Please label your file YourLastName. Preferred font: Baskerville, font size 12. Do not include any headers or footers in your file.
Technical specifications for art and photography:
Please send your graphics in as high resolution file as you have available. Important: Please label your file(s) with YourLastName-title of work.
We accept previously published works only if you control the copyright—-please check your contract on previous publication.
Work already submitted to and accepted to the Brac Book will be automatically considered, no need to reapply unless you have other work you would like to have considered.
The book is projected to be in color, 8.5” square on high quality photographic paper. This book will not be including student art per se, although all artists and poets of any age are encouraged to submit their work (minors will need parental/guardian permission).
This book will be sold in part to support land conservation in Cayman. Contributors to the book receive royalties on the first year of all sales, and thereafter on books sold through on-demand printing (please note not all copies will be printed on demand), access to the book at wholesale to resell or gift, and a free book.
